Bordered by the LA River, Alameda St, the 101 Freeway, and 7th Street, the Arts District is the most interesting and eclectic community in downtown Los Angeles.
Historically vineyards and citrus groves gave way to industrial factories and warehouses. While still an industrial zone, live/work lofts, restaurants, café/bars and galleries now share this neighborhood developing with its own rhythm and its own culture. The LA Arts District is establishing itself as a creative hub of Los Angeles.
